JĀSÖN® is a hugely successful American owned brand, producing body and hair care products for the family since 1959 and certified free from animal testing by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics. We spoke to their UK distributor at Kinetic 4 Health to find out more about the brand and the ethics behind the ever popular products.
Q: Why was it important to you to certify JĀSÖN® under the Leaping Bunny?
We are firm believers that no cosmetic products should be tested on our furry little friends and we wanted to tell the world this! JĀSÖN® products are about natural, safe ingredients that are kind to our earth and every living creature on it. The Leaping Bunny's principles are ones we strongly support and we know that a lot of our followers (we'd like to think all of them!) share these values with us. We also live in the hope that other companies will follow suit.
Q: What are your best sellers or favourite products? 
JĀSÖN® has been a pioneer of natural beauty since starting out in 1959. A bestselling product that was there at the beginning and remains in the range today is the Apricot Scrubble, a lovely cleanser that is effective but mild. The Aloe Vera products are also hot sellers for us – the 84% Moisturising Crème, the Body Wash and the 98% Gel in particular.
Q: What is unique about JĀSÖN®?
JĀSÖN® offers a range of natural products that cover the head to toe needs of all the family. Ingredients are selected not just for their fragrance but for their nutrient value, and formulated together to create wholesome, therapeutic products that really work. JĀSÖN® redesigned the packaging last year, in part to make it easier for customers to learn about the restorative and healing ingredients contained within.
Q: Is JĀSÖN® certified or approved by any other organisations (e.g. Vegetarian / Vegan, Organic, Fair Trade)?
All of JĀSÖN®’s products meet the Vegetarian and Vegan criteria, but are not approved by either body. We use some organic ingredients in our products, for instance the Aloe Vera used is certified organic. As we are the number one natural family brand we always keep price point in mind which is why not all ingredients are organic.
