Just a few of the 150+ cruelty free products in the M&S household range
Marks & Spencer's (M&S) cosmetics and toiletries have been cruelty free since May 2007 but the retailer has now gone one step further by joining the BUAV's Humane Household Products Standard.
This is fantastic news for ethical shoppers as it means that all M&S household products from washing-up liquid right through to laundry detergent and air freshener will carry the BUAV's leaping bunny logo, making them instantly recognisable as cruelty free.
Our logo guarantees that a retailer does not conduct or commission animal testing for its final products or any product ingredients.
The BUAV's Chief Executive, Michelle Thew is delighted to be working with M&S to promote its range of household products:
"This exciting next step in Marks and Spencer's ethical initiative builds on a solid partnership which shows the high street that it is possible to successfully respond to customers' ethical demands in this area. Marks and Spencer has demonstrated its commitment to driving animal testing out of the cosmetics and household products industry, and promoting the true meaning of being animal testing free."
