Campaign Background

In 1997 the UK Government banned the testing of cosmetics on animals — on the grounds that the pain and suffering caused couldn't be justified given the non-essential nature of the product. This hugely welcome move was applauded by everyone with an interest in animal welfare. That was over ten years ago...

...Now it's time for the Government to use the same logic and ban the use of animals to test household products and their ingredients.
